EnhanceFitness
Low-cost, one hour supervised classes for a five-week session of three classes per week. Components of the class include strength training with wrist and ankle weights, aerobics, balance and stretching. It is designed to be safe and effective for seniors with a wide range of physical abilities and can transition to a self-maintained home program.
This program was developed in partnership between Senior Services of Seattle/King County, Group Health Cooperative of Puget Sound, and the University of Washington Health Promotion Research Center.
